   • Lock down the user's desired installation directory to be accessed only by the application itself and accounts with elevated permissions (system and admin users).
   • Run with elevated privileges to ensure comprehensive security monitoring.
   • Maintain persistence to provide continuous protection.
   • Parse and monitor Windows operating system security events.
   • Store security-related data securely (e.g. user creation events, login information, network connections, etc).
   • Detect anomalous activities and recommend appropriate responses.
   • Communicate with the saffireshield.com web application for alerting and providing visual insights.
   • Maintain a desired monitoring state e.g ensure logging is configured, enabled, etc.
   • Enable and monitor Windows Defender and Windows Firewall to ensure they are active and configured for security.
   • Note: If you already have an antivirus (AV) installed, enabling Windows Defender may cause conflicts. However, the service will continue to function and provide security features even with such conflicts.
   The service is designed for users who may not be highly skilled in technology but want detection against hacker activities, similar to how enterprise security centers detect threats.
3. User Responsibilities: By using the Service, you agree to:
   • Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
   • Not attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise reduce the Service to a human-perceivable form.
